Gender Justice Collectives’ contribution to SDGs for building a sustainable world
Thursday, 22nd of June 2023, 5 pm

Gender Justice Collectives which are inclusive of women’s groups, feminist Peace negotiators, Feminist movements, grass roots movements, marginalized rainbow coalitions contribute to SDG (sustainable development goals) and therefore to the collective sustainability of the world. The initiatives by such groups advocate adherence to universal principles of respect for unity, independence, justice, sustainability and equality. In this talk, we’ll take a closer look at the conversation on ‘Women, Weapon and Disarmament’ that shows the importance of investing in SDGs as well as other articles such as ‘Women’s Role in Peace and security process’ and how SDGs are a requirement for a political framework that is centred around the well-being of marginalized people.
