Spending a semester at EH Freiburg
You are an incoming student and interested in spending a theory semester at the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Freiburg (EH Freiburg)? As admission requirements and conditions may change, we strongly recommend contacting the International Office at an early stage for advice and guidance.
Incoming students should have adequate German language skills at at least B2 level, as only a limited number of individual modules or courses are currently offered in English. At EH Freiburg, the lecture period generally runs from early October to early February in the winter semester and from late March to early July in the summer semester.
Accommodation in Freiburg
EH Freiburg does not operate its own student residence hall. Most student accommodation in Freiburg is provided by the Studierendenwerk Freiburg. On its website, you will also find links to other church-run, non-profit and private residence halls, as well as information on private room rentals. A limited number of rooms will be made available for our international Students by the Studentenwerk Freiburg. Interest in one of the rooms must be comunicated to the EH Freiburg during the application process.
As accommodation in Freiburg is in high demand, especially at the beginning of the winter semester, we strongly recommend applying for student housing as early as possible.
